HELLO WORLD!!!

Revelation #9 (?): I am addicted to the Internet.

I realized this during the three day period in which I had NO internet connection. NONE. It was horrible. It was like torture. Plus, I have no cable either (none, not even basic), so I was on a rampage. I was grumpy, my head hurt a lot, it was crazy. I basically sat on the couch all day, stared at a blank TV screen and listened to the radio. I did draw though, which leads me to my next revelation.

Revelation #10:I do have an ounce of artistic talent.

HAHA! Ok, copying a picture may not count as talent, but I will say my picture turned out pretty good. Awesome. I was so happy with myself when I got finished that I rushed upstairs and loaded the picture onto the computer. Then, the net went out...Yeah.

The pic is of Kovu from the Lion King 2...I wonder if I can load it up here...

See? HAHAHAHA! I'm so happy! It looks sooo good! I didn't think it'd turn out that good I thought it'd turn out like a load of crap. But it didn't! Yay! For a beginner, that's awesome...Hopefully nobody will flame me for it...

Revelation #11: Sometimes you just need to let people go.

Yeah, I need to let my cousin go. On the fourth she went all crazy and stuff, yelling at my uncle (the one that's not her dad) and saying that she didn't have to put up with us and stuff. Us meaning the family. When she said that, something in my heart gave and I cried. Yeah, I went to the back room and cried for a good minute. Then I said to myself, "If she doesn't want to be apart of the family, I can't force her." and I stopped crying and I went to go see the drama.

The whole thing started cause my cousin (who's 16) wanted to go *down the street* over some bodies house. Well, that wasn't gonna happen, my grandma said it wasn't, so my cousin exploded and started yelling and crying. Then she called our uncle (who was trying, rather badly, to calm the situation down) drunk. Well, the guy does drink like a fish outta water, but still, she shouldn't of said that. After that point, my uncle had to be held back cause he was gonna hurt my cousin. That was the first time it happened. After a few minutes of yelling, my uncle got pushed on the porch so he could calm down and my cousin got pushed to the backroom (where I was still sitting) to calm down.

The SECOND time it happened, my cousin was still in the back room, but my uncle was just trying to tell her that disrespect was wrong and stuff (since she had claimed SHE had felt disrespect earlier). Well, my cousin started yelling and crying and then my uncle started trying to throw punches and he did actually get one in on her. They got separated before anything bad could happen.

My cousin basically told the world that she didn't want to apart our family anymore. She's going as far as to move to Maryland with her mother. I know deep in my heart this is a bad idea. Her mother didn't treat her right when she was here, so I know my cousin won't get treated right a couple states away. Who knows who her mother lives with? He could be a pimp or something. I don't want my cousin to have to suffer. But you know what? I gotta let her go. She won't talk or listen to me, so I have to let her live her life. I can't control her. I can worry about her like crazy, but in the end, it's HER life. If she wants to ruin it and live on the streets, then fine. Fine.

I'm gonna go check out the net. I haven't been on here in a while...God I miss it! Lol.

I LOVE your drawing of Kovu! <33 I can never draw him right, so I really admire that you can. :jealous: Btw, I know what you mean about internet addiction. I was once grounded from the internet for two months. Doesn't it make you sick just to think about it?

I'm sorry about your cousin. It sounds a lot like my family. I used to have a really close extended family, but then all my sisters and aunts and stuff started getting divorces/fighting/moving away. I hope your cousin will be okay with her mom. But she is 16, and the good news is that in two years, she can move out if she wants. :3 Plus, maybe after her teenage years she'll calm down, realize how dumb she was being, and come back to the family.
