I'm really pissy that I had to go to camp this week. I hate my conscience. I mean, if I didn't have one, i would of stayed my behind at home in the air conditioning...Ah well.

I got a couple things from my high school today. I'm a nervous wreck, neat tears. I know NO ONE at that school. I'm so freaked out. God. I'm gonna be around all these new people, and our interests are gonna be totally out of whack..God, I wish there would be someone there who like yaoi as much as I do. I do know that there HAS to be some people who like anime like I do. I mean, how many people like anime out of 100? Probably more than ten, and since there's like a good 70-100 people in my class (yeah, school just started two years ago) that's about 20 people that like anime...The numbers look good.

But then again, I don't have to hang out with folks that just like anime. I could branch out, but that's gonna be hard. I'm not the most social girl in the world...Ah...this is stressful. Trying to figure out which group you're gonna be in in high school. Well, fat geeks aren't that bad. And you KNOW geeks gotta like anime..Yeah!

Well, anyway. There's three weeks of training BEFORE you start school and get your job. The first week of that training involves a ROPE COURSE!!! My fat ass (and yes, ass) do NOT need to be on ANY ropes of ANY kind. They'll probably break! Why would they want to embarrass someone like that? Fat people don't need to be up in the air, I should know...Good god, I'm nervous...

Well, I'm gonna go. I would type more, but I gotta go search for...uh...yaoi. (nods) Yes, completely legal yaoi. heh.....

Oh, well, it works out. I'll, like, give you my life story to prove it. XD It wont be exactly the same way for you, but it's pretty encouraging, and you know what? In my school, there are at least 20 anime fans. At least 8 of them like yaoi, including some boys. XD so I'd say you have a good chance of finding common friends.

here's how it worked for me. I started school with only one friend, named Amanda. She kind of sort of liked one anime, called Tokyo mewmew, and that was it. But she was okay, and she laughed at me a lot in eighth grade, so we clung to eachother for company.

then i met some other people, Sara, Hana and Michelle, because Amanda's crush was sitting with them so I started talking to them. You don't necessarily have to be the one who starts talking. Amanda is shy and she's friends with Sara too now. The others sort of dropped away later. Sara loves anime, yaoi, and draws the best art I've ever seen. She also has a largely poop oriented sense of humor. XD

Then, a week into school, a girl named Selah sat next to me and started talking to me about anime. she's the most popular anime addict in the school and was asking me to sleep over at her house in the first week I knew her. she likes making friends, ALOT. she has, like, a plague of them. She connected me with Shelley (her adopted sister, anime fan) and Alisha (cool chick, also loves anime) and a ton of other people. Most of them love yaoi, including Selah.

I met Rachel at an anime meeting, which was a group created by me friend Shelby, who was a slightly unpleasant but inescapable person I met and became friends with in seventh grade. I have lots of friends form the meetings but Rachel is the only one of my best friends that came from it.

This summer I met a girl named Toni in summer school. I played the Selah by latching onto her and making her my friend, which i would have never been able ton do until highschool changed me into a friendly, sociable human being. (srsly. In the first year. no kidding,)

So, the good news is, you'll most likely have lots of friends and an active social life. the bad news is, it will be hard to escape their nagging of spending the night/going to birthday parties/coming to your house and throwing sunflower seeds all over your room. XD
