This play sucks! I know I probably mentioned it before, but it's bad. Yesterday, they did the play twice (one for school and one for the parents) and the first time they did it, it wasn't that bad. Some people messed up their lines, and the stage crew was slow, but it wasn't that bad. Then, at night when they did it for the parents, it got worse. People STILL didn't know their lines, the little kids didn't know when to come out/ they came out late/they didn't come out at all, the music was messed up. It was horrible. And we have to go through 4 more performances, counting today! I did have a good laugh though, until I had to run around the school looking for people's props. That's what I am, the Prop Girl. Well...
Yesterday at the play performance, this guy Donald in my class said "That fourth grader shouldn't be working the curtains." I wasn't there when he said it, but that's what he told me. I totally agree with the statement (the poor girl doesn't pull the curtain all the way out, so if you're sitting on the sides of the gym, you can't see ANYTHING...) but anyway. The coordinator (she's like my boss) just quit and told Donald to do her job. So he is, and I'm his assistant. Real bump up, from student coordinatior to assistant coordinator..serisouly. But I'm grateful.
That's about all for now. I tried on a pair of capris on the other day and they fit. The killer part is the capris are from SIXTH GRADE!! I could breathe in them and everything. Now, I could stand to lose a few inches from the backside in those capris, but wow! Sixth grade!? I must be losing weight or something. I feel all happy just because of that.
I want to draw a picture. I want to draw a gothic (the jig is up, I love goths....which makes me a poser...great) Pinoccio (hopefully spelled right...). This girl won a drawing contest at my school, and I was jealous. So, that's my motivation for art. That's a sad motivation starter, jealousy, but hell, it gets the job done.
